Filming for a 6 part TV BBC drama, to be broadcast in September 2010 is pictured. A simulated explosion, blowing out a shop window in Peel's Market Square was part of the plot. The former Book Emporium was used. A "sugar glass" window was installed, subsequently blown out with an explosive charge at night. Peel Fire Brigade were in attendance. by John Kerruish.
