The Headland’s sandstone boundary wall, which was removed for public safety reasons in November 2017 after its partial collapse in heavy rainfall conditions, will be rebuilt over the next two months. Wall rebuilding works are scheduled to commence later this week for completion by the Christmas holidays. The rebuilding of the wall will cost £53,000 and will reuse the original sandstone walling stone which was stored for this project.
