The Commissioners closed access to the haulage track last week for shell tipping vehicles along the whole length of the track and for pedestrians at the top of the track in the vicinity the shell disposal slip. This action was required to rectify a number of issues highlighted in a health and safety risk assessment report commissioned by Peel Town Commissioners. This matter is an agenda item at Thursday’s Board meeting.
