Welcome to our photo competition pages. We are grateful to all who send us their images of our beautiful town. You all help us to show Peel to the rest of the world and entice more people to come and visit us!

We have cash prizes at the end of each year for the top three photos as judged by the chair of Peel Town Commissioners, but really it’s the taking part that counts. We’ll use your photos on our Facebook page as well as this website, and ask our thousands of followers to “like” their favourites. This helps us with the judging at the end of the year.

The 2020 competition is now complete and judging is underway. The shortlist, and all the photos for the year can be seen below.

Full competition rules

We like topical, newsy, and humorous photos as well technically good or artistic photographs.

Photos should be submitted by the end of the month in which they were taken.
