The Isle of Man Treasury will be holding a public drop in session to discuss the proposed budget at the Corrin Hall in Peel on Thursday 25 October between 7pm and 9pm.
Peel Town Commissioners are holding a Christmas Market alongside the annual Christmas lights switch-on, and visit from a special seasonal visitor on Saturday 1st December. Traders can download an application form to trade at the event. Stalls are free, or just £10 for a provided covered stall.
The Headland's sandstone boundary wall, which was removed for public safety reasons in November 2017 after its partial collapse in heavy rainfall conditions, will be rebuilt over the next two months. Peel Town Commissioners' Bonfire night event is scheduled to take place on Monday 29 October 2018 at 7pm with fireworks from 7:30pm. The Commissioners have decided to hold this event a week early to permit the use of the outer breakwater which will be occupied by fishing boats for the start of the scallop season [...]
