Peel’s new Chair of Commissioners, Voirrey Heaton, has judged our 2021 Photo Competition, and we’re delighted to announce the results.

Voirrey said “Many thanks to everyone who took the time to enter the photo competition. The entries were of a high standard and choosing the top 3 was very difficult. I chose Alan Kneen’s fishing boat as the (£75) winner as the composition and colours were lovely. Lindsey Jane’s seal deserved second place as it made me smile and the photo caught the moment. The worthy third, Colin Boardman’s infinity puddle was cleverly composed and unusual. All three photos made me stop and spend time looking at them. Congratulations.”

Please could the winners contact the Town Hall to claim their prizes.

Peel Online is very grateful to everyone who has sent photos or voted on them throughout the year. The publicity this generates for the town is wonderful.
