At the Commissioners’ meeting on the 20 November 2025 the Board made the following resolutions:
The Board were advised the planning application for the construction of steps into St Peter’s Church gardens from St Peter’s Lane was ready for submission in accordance with the Board’s instruction. The Board agreed unanimously NOT to submit this application owing to the delay this would cause in commencing work at this location to replace the St Peter’s boundary wall.
The Board agreed the Lead Member Committee for Properties and Asset Management would make a recommendation to the next Board meeting concerning any potential rent increases for social housing tenants from 1 April 2026 after the evaluation of inflation, cost of living and arrears data.
The Board agreed the Lead Member Committee for Finance, Operations and Staff Resource would recommend a consultation response from the Commissioners on the proposed changes within the Public Audit Reform consultation.
The Board agreed to release their vision, strategic aims and objectives for this Board’s term of office. This will be released within a separate post later today.
