At the January 2020 Board meeting Peel Town Commissioners agreed the following rate increases for the 2020/21 Financial year commencing on 1 April 2020:
Town Rate No increase rate to be held at 257p for a further year. This is the fourth year the Town Rate has been frozen.
Refuse Rate £10 increase per household from £186 to £196. This increase is required to fund the increased charges levied on the Commissioners for the operation of the Western Civic Amenity Site and the disposal of domestic refuse at the Energy from Waste Facility.
