Peel Town Commissioners invite applications from suitably experienced persons for a general worker operating from the Commissioners’ Mill Road Depot in Peel.


The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine maintenance, repair and cleaning of the land and property owned by the Commissioners and routine highway maintenance works on the public highways in Peel. The general worker will report to the Commissioners’ Foreman and Technical Officer and must be fit, reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated and conscientious. This permanent position is for 37 hours a week (Monday to Friday) which will be undertaken between 8:00am and 5:00pm. The position will be subject to the Isle of Man Public Service Commission Terms and Conditions of employment which the Commissioners have adopted by analogy.
