Come and learn about the history of yarn work in Peel and beyond at the Peel Community Museum in the Leece, Castle Street.

Many garments and patterns on show from a Peel fisherman’s gansey to 80’s picture knits.
We would love to hear your yarn stories and see any old yarn work you may have.

There is a competition for the oldest uncompleted garment, UFO. Experts will be on hand to help you out with any yarn problems.
Craft magazines, patterns and book exchange in the Ward Library.

So get your embarrassing photos and yarn work out of the loft and have a skeet at what we have collected so far.
